"Featuring songs from The Undertones, The Buzzcocks, The Stranglers and many more from the punk era"

Penned by Colin Bateman (‘Divorcing Jack’, ‘Murphy’s Law’), this brand new musical has been specially commissioned for 2013 and directed by Des Kennedy (Once – the Musical, Vernon God Little).

In 1981 Derry teenager Jimmy McMurphy escapes Northern Ireland by way of a student exchange programme to St. Francis Xavier High School in the US State of Iowa. Principal Truman expects to host a war damaged refugee, but instead finds himself confronted by an exuberant, spikey haired punk rocker intent on bringing rock’n’rolling anarchy to the school population – while breaking a few hearts along the way.

But is Jimmy all he claims to be?

Don’t miss this pulsating new musical!  Here's a sneak peek of what you can expect from Director Des Kennedy.
