The final bid document that will determine whether or not Derry~Londonderry will be the UK City of Culture 2013 left the city today and to celebrate the hard work of those who helped with the bid, the Millennium Forum hosted a special Cultural Connections 'thank you' reception staged by Derry City Council and cultural partners. The event saw performances from some of Derry's most talented young musicians and was attended by the US Envoy to Northern Ireland, Declan Kelly and the Mayor, Cllr Paul Fleming.
