The Millennium Forum has just announced details of its brand new programme of events for the New Year. As one busy year draws to a close, another one arrives with lots of exciting events to entertain everyone in the Jan-April 2014 season.
Panto season is already in full swing at the Millennium Forum as ‘Peter Pan’ flew into the city last week for a string of performances that will delight children of all ages well into the New Year.
Already, the show is proving to be a huge hit with local audiences as the Millennium Forum can reveal that ticket sales for the biggest show of the season are up a significant 11% on last year’s ‘Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs’.
David McLaughlin, Chief Executive of the Millennium Forum and Producer of ‘Peter Pan’ is delighted with this news:
This December, Frs Eugene, Martin and David are delighted to present, Christmas With The Priests. As well as singing much loved classics such as Ave Maria, Pie Jesu and Amazing Grace, the Priests will perform live, some of the most cherished seasonal songs of all time - everything from Ding Dong Merrily On High to O Come All Ye Faithful, Sussex Carol to Silent Night.
The Lyric Theatre’s production Brendan at the Chelsea has been described as “a must” by the prestigious New York Times – the icing on the cake of critical acclaim in New York.
The NY Times reviewer praised the director and star of the show, Adrian Dunbar, whose “performance alone makes Brendan At The Chelsea a must.” It also described the set and costumes as “vividly evocative” of 1960s New York in which the play is based.
The electrifying brand new musical, Teenage Kicks, opened with a standing ovation in the Millennium Forum on Friday night.
An exciting and compelling new musical that has been specially commissioned for 2013, Teenage Kicks is a co-production by the Millennium Forum and the Nerve Centre.
