Millennium Forum Youth Productions are proud to present this year’s youth musical, Legally Blonde.

Do you play any of the following instruments?

*Guitar *Bass *Drums *Woodwind I (Flute, Clarinet, Tenor Sax, Soprano Sax) *Woodwind II (Clarinet, Bass Clarinet, Baritone Sax, Soprano Sax) *Horn *Keyboard II (programming is essential*) *Keyboard III (programming is essential*) *Cello *Trombone *Trumpet

This year, we want to expand inclusion and reach out to amateur musicians who would like to be part of the live band. Musicians who are grade 8 are particularly sought after but other grades/ people who do not hold any formal qualifications will be considered on the basis that they are able to sight read with ease/pick up tunes quickly and play the score music to a high standard.

Auditions – Tuesday 25th June – 4.30pm – 7.30pm

Venue – The Millennium Forum

Audition requirements –

  • Perform one piece of own choice
  • Sight Reading (Standard grade 8)
  • Length of Audition – 10 mins

Rehearsal & Productions Details

  • 4 live shows Wed 24th July 2018 – Sat 27th July 2019
  • 2 rehearsals per week, every week in July, for approx. 2 hours per session (dates to be confirmed)  and 1 dress rehearsal, date TBC

As well as gaining invaluable musical experience, we are happy to provide professional references for musicians who take part. This is wonderful opportunity for any musician seeking to expand their repertoire, work with a professional musical director, and gain experience in live theatre playing or clock up performance hours for CV/grades/modules/courses they are completing.
