Calling Local Playwrights!

Are you 16+ and from the North West of Ireland? Dream of seeing your play performed on the Millennium Forum stage? This is your chance! We are launching a new project to help local writers bring their scripts to life.

Over two years, participants will develop their ideas and scripts, working closely with renowned playwright Brian Foster, whose work has been celebrated worldwide. One script will be selected for a professional production as part of our 25th anniversary celebrations in 2026.

Think you have what it takes? Submit a one-page synopsis and the first six pages of your original script to magsc@millenniumforum.co.uk by 5pm, 18 Oct 2024. Successful applicants will work with Brian Foster over 6-8 months, and one writer will be chosen to develop their piece further with a £3,000 commission.
