The Millennium Forum has just announced another busy season of events to kick start 2023. The new programme is hot off the press and promises a season of concerts, plays and panto to keep local audiences entertained.

This season we really do have something for everyone.  Comedy is always popular with local audiences and the new season is no exception with popular ex- Blame Game panellist and stand up veteran JAKE O’KANE in January while renowned Donegal comic, CONAL GALLEN arrives in the same month.  There are sure to be lots of laughs with ascerbic wit NEIL DELAMERE in February while other Blame Game favourite COLIN MURPHY brings his brand new show in April.  May McFettridge will return for a fun evening in A HAPPY MEDIUM in April.

On the musical drama front, the exceptional West End tour of BLOOD BROTHERS by Willy Russell, is back after a three year hiatus.  There is brand new Derry drama with FACTORY GIRLS AND ROCK ‘N’ ROLL in February as well as touring musical drama THE DORIS DAY STORY in April.

It’s wonderful to see the return of PAUL HEATON AND JACQUI ABBOTT to a sold out evening while Irish band ASLAN will take to the stage in January.  DAN MCCABE also returns as does legend CHRISTY MOORE.  Ever popular crooner DANIEL O’DONNELL is back with Opry Le Daniel in April.  It is really an honour for the Forum to host the City Of Derry Jazz Festival headliner – globally renowned singer-songwriter PAUL BRADY.

Ballet fans are in for a treat when the Ukrainian National Ballet arrives with a new production of SWAN LAKE.

If it’s something different you’re after, the spellbinding ROCK ORCHESTRA with its powerful wall of sound in April and the eclectic family show CIRQUE in the same month will delight.

Coming soon – Strictly fans will be thrilled with the anticipated arrival of STRICTLY BALLROOM THE MUSICAL, based on the award-winning worldwide film phenomenon, for its UK and Ireland tour, starring Strictly Come Dancing’s Kevin Clifton!  See it onstage in May 2023.
