With a choice of 8 function rooms, we can accommodate a huge array of events, large or small. Located in the heart of Northern Ireland’s historic walled city, it is the largest conference venue in the North West. Whether you are organising a major conference, a banquet or dinner dance, a presentation, sporting event or require a small meeting space, the Millennium Forum can provide a first-class service which is second to none.
The Millennium Forum offers a choice of flexibility for business activity. A variety of spaces of varying sizes are available and our dedicated conference staff are always on hand to offer their expertise with planning and organising your event. Our flexible main auditorium with its moveable ceiling and adaptable floor alongside our dedicated technical team ensures that the Millennium Forum is an excellent venue to meet your needs.
Hybrid Event Solutions
The Millennium Forum is delighted to offer a hybrid event solution for those planning a conference or event with both remote and on-site delegates. We understand that the requirements of event organisers have had to adapt to new circumstances and our experienced team will be happy to talk you through a full range of options for hybrid events. Our technically enhanced auditorium and meeting rooms are equipped with data projectors, screens, fibre broadband and 4K UHD cameras for live event streaming. This will ensure that your delegates don’t miss any of the action, no matter where in they world they may be.
The Millennium Forum boasts 15 Break Out Rooms in total, situated nearby all function rooms. All the ‘Break Outs’ vary in size from one on one to meeting room capacities. These rooms can be used for a variety of events from classrooms to banquets, theatre to boardroom or just somewhere relaxing to meet.
With a movable ceiling and adaptable seating, our auditorium is a flexible space which can be used in a variety of sizes from a 367 seater ideal for a press launch or seminar, to a larger conference style event with up to 1,020 delegates. Our large stage area provides the perfect space for presentations and guest speakers. The Auditorium is fitted with a loop hearing system and SIAP sound system with disabled access on every floor.
The Studio space is ideal for meetings of up to 100 people theatre style or boardroom style meetings of up to 40 people. This intimate space is located at the back of the building and has two small break out rooms located to the rear of it. This room is fully equipped for sound and various light settings to suit your requirements.
A key feature, the Piazza area is the largest open space in the Forum. With its two large Bar areas, it is an excellent place to congregate before and after conferences. It is also a superb area to stage Exhibitions or Roadshows, as well as Craft Fairs and Charity Events. This area can be transformed into a banqueting area, ideal for serving food and refreshments.
The Millennium Room, Diamond Room and Foyle Room are collectively described as the Piazza Suite and are situated on Level 2. They provide versatile private spaces which can cater for up to 60 people in the Millennium Room, the largest of the Piazza Suite Rooms.
Additional Event Spaces
A number of additional spaces are available as break out rooms, for smaller presentations, live performances or screenings. These include the East Wall Bar on level 2, Farquhar Room and Green Room on level 3.
