The Millennium Forum invites submissions of competitive quotations for the design and print of its seasonal brochure.  There are three seasonal brochures produced each year and the quotations must include the following:

 

Print

Size: A5 (portrait and landscape orientations will be accepted)

Spec: Printed full colour throughout.

Cover page: 250gsm gloss (with additional laminate on one side)

Insert pages (option 1): 130gsm gloss

Insert pages (option 2): 130gsm silk

Finish: Folded, gathered, saddle stitched, trimmed and packed.

Quantity: 20,000 copies.

Design

To include new design concepts and page layout. Colour correcting and layout of text. Amendments made, together with the design of some adverts.  Proofs supplied for sign-off. File set up before going to print.

 

Design Brief

The Millennium Forum is a vibrant arts/cultural and conference centre in the heart of Derry/Londonderry.  It produces an annual eclectic programme of events that includes world class comedy, drama, music, children’s shows, West End musicals and much more.  The seasonal brochure should reflect the cultural diversity of events as well as the theatre’s main artistic aim: to promote community and professional participation in the arts reinforcing the strong cultural identity of the City and pushing it firmly to the fore as the regional capital of the North West of Ireland.

 

Delivery

Completed brochures will be delivered to three Northern Ireland addresses (Millennium Forum, mailing house and programme distributor).

 

Please include examples of your recent work with your quotations application as well as a new design concept for the Millennium Forum brochure.

 

Opening date of quotation: Monday 22^nd April

Closing date of quotation: Monday 13^th May @ 5pm

 

Duration of contract:  2 years. This will include a total of up to six seasonal brochures, beginning with the Jan-April 2025 brochure (this will be produced in October/November 2024 – dates to be agreed).  Successful quotations will be selected based on competitive pricing and quality design as well as a strong track record in previous projects.
