What are your opening hours?
The Box Office is open Monday – Saturday 9.30am – 5.00 pm. The Box Office is closed on Sundays and Bank Holidays. Please note Box Office will always open one hour prior to evening performances. This includes all evening and Sunday performances.
What time do the shows start?
Shows can start at different times, therefore we advise customers to check the start time advertised on their tickets. We advise that you aim to be seated 10/15 minutes before the show starts.
Where are the Stalls/Circle/Upper Circle Seats?
The Stalls seats are located on the ground floor and are on a flat floor. The Circle is the first balcony and the Upper Circle is the second balcony, both the Circle and Upper Circle have steps to access seats and are tiered seating.
Is the view restricted in areas?
Viewing is not restricted in the main areas of the auditorium. However we advise that viewing can be restricted from the boxes depending on the performance.
Can I pick my own seats?
Millennium Forum patrons can choose their preferred seats when making an online booking or when booking via the telephone or in person at our Box Office.
What discounts and concessions are available?
Concessions will be available for some of our performances to Senior Citizens, Children under 16, Students (valid I.D card required) and the Unemployed (valid I.D required). For selected performances a discounted ticket is now available for personal assistants/companions of people with disabilities. Ask at Box Office for details of our ‘Access For All Scheme’.
Do Groups and Schools get a special rate?
For many performances a discount is offered for group bookings and school groups. Please ask at the Box Office for more information.
What payment methods do you accept?
Payment can be made by cash, cheque (guarantee card required) and any major credit/debit cards (no service charge). When collecting pre-paid tickets at the Box Office, proof of identification is required.
Can I use my friend’s credit card to pay?
It is only possible to use your own credit card as we must record the details against the name and address the card is registered against.
What do you do with my credit/debit card details?
Once your payment has been processed we do not store your details on our system.
What do you do with my personal details?
We store your personal contact details so that we can communicate with you, advising you of upcoming events that might be of interest to you. If you do not want us to contact you, please let us know. We will never share your details with anyone else.
When will I receive my tickets?
If ticket postage is required, postage is charged at £1 per booking. Tickets are generally posted the day after booking. Please contact our Box Office on 02871 264455 if tickets do not arrive within 2-3 days.
Is it possible to collect tickets in person?
Once purchased tickets can be collected from our Box Office during regular opening hours or on the night of a performance. We would advise that immediately prior to a performance our Box Office is often extremely busy.
Can I get a refund on my tickets?
Refunds will only be given if a performance is cancelled. Tickets can only be exchanged to another performance of the same production and is at the sole discretion of the Box Office Manager.
Do you sell Gift Vouchers?
Treat your loved ones to a theatre gift voucher. Details available from the Box Office. The ideal gift!
What is the Development Donation for?
The Development Donation is your chance to contribute to the future of the Millennium Forum and to invest in our future development. Every ticket purchased for a show is subject to a small premium of £1.50.
FAQ ON MY VISIT TO THE MILLENNIUM FORUM
What happens if I am late?
Shows start on time, please do not be late. Latecomers will only be admitted if there is a suitable break in the performance, which may not be until the interval. Please note that this rule will be strictly enforced.
Can I buy a drink before the show?
The Piazza Bar will be open for all shows serving drinks before a show and at the interval. You will be permitted to take drinks into the main auditorium (unless the show has been designated as a children’s show). As the interval is generally extremely busy and time is restricted it is possible to pre-order and pay for interval drinks before the show starts, these drinks will then be located on a table in the bar area. Our bars will close 5-10 Minutes before the show begins, be early to avoid disappointment.
Do you sell sweets and confectionery items?
Our shop is located beside the main doors on the Piazza. The shop offers sweets, soft drinks, ice-creams and tea & coffee. On busy shows we will also have pop-up shops providing these items throughout the building. Hot drinks are however not permitted into the main auditorium.
Where are the toilets?
We have toilets on all levels of the Millennium Forum including accessible toilets. These are well sign-posted throughout the building.
Is there a lift?
A lift is located beside the box office to access the Circle level and beside the Upper Piazza Bar to access the Circle and Stalls levels. If you require assistance please do not hesitate to ask a member of staff.
Do you have a courtesy wheelchair?
The Millennium Forum has a courtesy wheelchair that can be used if required for customers. Please ask at Box Office if required.
Do you have wheelchair accessible spaces in the Main Auditorium?
We have wheelchair accessible spaces on all 3 levels of the auditorium, situated close to the doors. On occasions, where possible we can provide additional accessible spaces in the Stalls. This must be done in advance through our Box Office.
Do you have facilities for hearing aid users?
The auditorium and Box Office has a wire induction loop for hearing aid users.
Do the shows use Strobe Lighting & Smoke Effects?
Some performances may use special effects such as strobe lighting and smoke effects. If such effects are to be used, notices will be placed at the doors of the auditorium. Contact Box Office in advance for further information.

Where is the Millennium Forum?

The Millennium Forum is located at 3 Newmarket Street, Derry/Londonderry, BT48 6EB in the heart of the City situated between Foyleside Shopping Centre and The Richmond Centre Shopping Centre.
Where can I park?
There are a number of car parking facilities in the city centre, within a five minute walk from the Forum, such as Whittaker Street Car park (just behind Foyle Street and next to the Foyle Street Bus Station), Quayside, Queen’s Quay Car Park, Foyle Road, Foyle Valley Railway Museum, Bishop Street Car Park and Victoria Market Car Park. In total, there are in excess of 2,500 off-street car parking spaces in the city centre.
Where is the disabled parking at the Millennium Forum?
The NI Roads Service has created two new disabled parking spaces for Blue Badge Holders to service this area of the town centre. These can be accessed on Linenhall Street. Please note that the Millennium Forum does not have exclusive use of these spaces.
Is there a bus or train station nearby?
Foyle Street Bus Station is located less than a 2 minute walk from the Millennium Forum with links throughout Northern Ireland. A shuttle bus service also operates to the Waterside Railway Station.

Do you offer Booster Seats for Children?
Booster seats for small children over one year old are available for all performances. Numbers are limited and it is advised that you arrive early if you require a booster seat, we cannot guarantee availability. Booster seats are located at the shop on the Piazza level.

Photography/Recording
The use of recording or photography equipment is strictly prohibited in the Main Auditorium due to copyright and child protection.
Babes in Arms Tickets
For selected children’s performances only, all children under one year old may go free. However all patrons must be in possession of a valid ticket. Please ask at the Box Office for further details.
Use of Mobile Phones
The use of mobile phones is strictly prohibited in the Main Auditorium at all performances.
