NEW SEASON ANNOUNCED FOR JAN TO APRIL

The Millennium Forum has just announced details of its brand new season for Jan-April 2024.  Once again, there is a fantastic line-up to keep everyone entertained in the North West’s leading entertainment venue.

The New Year kicks off with music from one of the most popular bands to ever grace the Forum stage, The High Kings, who return with their unique blend of Irish folk.  Guitar legend, Tommy Emmanuel makes his first visit to the cityside theatre for what is sure to be an unforgettable night, whilst Tommy Fleming returns again with his new show to delight his many local fans. Ireland’s own country music sensation, Cliona Hagan, also returns this year to bring her acclaimed Dolly Songbook for a much anticipated show. Dan McCabe fans won’t be disappointed either as the Kildare singer/songwriter performs two gigs on the Forum’s stage this season.

Get ready to banish those January blues as we’ve got lots of great comedy in store this season.  Jon Richardson, Frankie Boyle, Neil Delamere and Jake O’Kane all make a welcome return, whilst Adam Rowe, star of ‘Live At The Appollo’ and ‘Roast Battle’, makes his Forum debut as part of an Irish tour.  Adam has been making waves at the Edinburgh Fringe and is widely regarded as one of the most exciting young comics in the world. Meanwhile, Conal Gallen, fresh from his appearance in our Christmas panto, is back with his brand new stand-up show and everyone’s favourite Northern Irish family, the Give My Head Peace gang arrive for some much needed laughs.

Local theatre fans will be delighted with the arrival of the smash hit West End musicals, Sister Act and Shrek to the city for the very first time.  Featuring original music by Tony® and 8-time Oscar® winner Alan Menken (Disney’s Aladdin, Enchanted) and songs inspired by Motown, soul and disco, Sister Act is a joyous and hilarious musical that guarantees a nostalgia-filled trip you will never forget.  Strictly favourite, Joanne Clifton, stars as Princess Fiona in Shrek, the musical extravaganza for little kids and big kids alike!  The Forum staff can’t wait to see this lively musical adventure come alive on its stage!

There is also much excitement for the arrival of Professor Brian Cox who makes his first visit with his new show, Horizons – A 21st Century Space Odyssey. Horizons has already taken over 250,000 people across three continents on a dazzling journey so it’s no surprise that it has now almost sold out.

Once again, there is lots on offer for all the family.  Younger children will enjoy Born To Be Wild whilst older family members will love the Ukrainian Ballet’s production of Sleeping Beauty and the Londonderry Musical Society’s musical, Oliver!
