Unleashing the Power of Youth: ‘Fame’ The Millennium Forum Youth Musical Hits the Streets with Captivating Sneak Peeks Before it takes centre stage at the Millennium Forum.

In preparation for the Millennium Forum Youth Production of Fame the Musical which opens on Wed 26th of July to Sat 29th of July the young, energetic cast will get ready to glow in stardom as they take snippets of the production around Derry  L’ Derry.

The Millennium Forum in collaboration with Arts and Business N.I and Aircoach will provide an extraordinary afternoon of entertainment.  That will have you singing, “I wanna live forever!” We invite you to be part of this sensational event and support our young performers.

On Tue 18th July, you have the chance to catch exciting snippets of the performance at various locations throughout the City. Brace yourself for fame-themed puns that will leave you grinning from ear to ear:

  • 2:20 PM: Guildhall (outside, weather permitting) – Get ready for a “Hall of Fame” experience!
  • 2:40 PM: Ebrington Square – It’s time to dance to the rhythm of “Fame” in this lively square!
  • 3:15 PM: Lisnagelvin Shopping Centre – Discover the “Shopping Spree of Fame” as the musical takes over!
  • 3:30 PM: Derry Mural – Witness the colourful fusion of art and fame at this remarkable location!
  • 4:00 PM: Millennium Forum – Studio – Prepare to be awestruck by a sneak peek that will leave you shouting, “I want more Fame!”

Meanwhile, The Millennium Forum will have invited guests entertained on a Hop on Hop off bus Aircoach journey that will transport them through the heart of the city. Each stop along the way will be an opportunity to witness these rising stars in action, showcasing their talent and passion for the performing arts. The journey will culminate with a taster song from the show in the Millennium Forum.

The Millennium Forum annual youth musical serves as transformative milestones, often propelling these talented individuals towards a future in the professional performance.

Timings are approximate for the outdoor performances, so make sure to arrive early to secure your spot in the audience and witness our rising stars.
