WIN YOUR CLASS TICKETS TO SEE THE BIGGEST PANTO IN TOWN!

Calling all primary schools!  Do you want to win a trip to see Jack & The Beanstalk at the Millennium Forum this Christmas?

The Millennium Forum in partnership with the Richmond Shopping Centre has continued with its longstanding tradition of running an annual Christmas schools competition, offering the winner a trip for their entire class to see their pantomime.  This year, local primary school students are asked to create an art piece on what they would like to see at the top of the giant beanstalk as this year’s panto is Jack & The Beanstalk.  Entries will be shortlisted and the finalists posted up on the Richmond Centre’s Facebook page for public voting.

Cara McCartney, Development & Creative Engagement Manager at the Millennium Forum, encourages all primary schools to enter. She said:

“We are so excited to be launching another schools competition for our panto this year with our partners the Richmond Shopping Centre.  Last year was an incredible success and we’re expecting a large number of entries again this year. It’s an ideal opportunity for young students to unleash their creativity with one lucky winner bringing all their class to see the show. Entry posters and full details can be downloaded from the Millennium Forum and Richmond Centre websites, or, alternatively, hard copies are available from the Richmond Centre. Completed entries can also be posted in designated post boxes situated in the Richmond Centre.”

She added:

“Sponsorship with the Millennium Forum and the Richmond Centre continues to build momentum in terms of branding with our biggest show of the year, rewarding staff and reaching into the local community with the schools competition.  As a registered charity, we are very grateful for their support and we look forward to working with them again this panto season. We also look forward to seeing the artwork on display at the Richmond Centre in the run up to Christmas.”

Bobby Nicholson, Manager of the Richmond Shopping Centre and sponsor of the Forum’s pantomime, also commented:

“The Richmond Centre enjoys supporting local arts, schools and community and we are looking forward to this year’s schools art competition.  We are sure a great time of fun and laughter at Jack & The Beanstalk will be had when the lucky winner gets to bring their whole class along to this fun filled Christmas show.”

Jack & The Beanstalk, sponsored by the Richmond Centre, opens at the Millennium Forum on 30th November and runs until 31st December 2023.  Tickets are now available from the Box Office.  Telephone 71 264455 or visit millenniumforum.co.uk for tickets.
